Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar made a three-day visit here to raise awareness for UNICEF Nepal's "Bat for Brain Development" campaign.

Tendulkar, who is a UNICEF ambassador, played a fun game of cricket with the Nepal women's team and went to the famous Pashupati temple and met Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, whom he thanked in a social media post.

"Thank you for visiting me in spite of health issues @PM_Nepal Mr. Oli ji, I wish you a speedy recovery. I feel loved and warmly touched in Nepal. Like the beautiful lamp you have gifted me - May there be brightness, happiness and prosperity. " All over the world. @unicef_nepal, "Tendulkar tweeted.
