Hollywood actor and climate activist Leonardo DiCaprio has voiced concern about Delhi's air pollution crisis. The actor has supported the efforts of several groups who are continuously working to highlight the dangerous effects of severe air pollution in India, especially in the national capital.

DiCaprio produced a bunch of photographs from a public protest at India Gate in Delhi. Photos show many people holding placards in hand near the memorial. The slogans read slogans like "I want a better future" and "Breath is killing me" with the intention of drawing attention to the city's air pollution crisis.

"More than 1,500 citizens gathered at India Gate in New Dehli, demanding immediate action on dangerous pollution levels in cities. According to the World Health Organization, air pollution in India is estimated to have killed about 1.5 million people every year. "These figures make up. Air pollution is the fifth biggest killer in India," the actor shared on Instagram.

In addition, DiCaprio listed four points on the steps taken by the government to curb air pollution.

When DiCaprio won the Oscar for his film The Revenant, he used the stage and the winning moment to talk about climate change and about not taking the planet for granted. A majority of the posts on his account reflect his concerns over the ongoing environmental issues around the world.
